Hello! I don't think I'll be at the same dates as you for the play, but our time should overlap, as I aim to land in London 1 December. Would you be interested to meet up?
Separately, hope you don't mind that I friended you :)?
Hi, so glad you will be able to see the play too! Meeting up won't work though as I'll only be in London for a short while with my daughter. We'll arrive on Saturday in the afternoon and will leave Sunday as we'll both have to be up early again on Monday. Meeting fans after the show for a drink would be lovely, but I'd like to spend Sunday visiting London with my daughter.
No I don't mind that you friended me, in fact I friended you right back :D
I got tickets for my best friend and I for January 11th. We're so excited! (she's more into the other actors, I'm more into Colin Morgan and we happily meet in the middle).
It's an incedibly stupid decision for me because I need to spend lots of money in the next three months on grown up stuff, but *shrugs* it will all work out in the end.
That's definitely the downside of theater: either people can't come at all, and when then can it usually costs a fortune for most fans! For the fortunate few who live close-by it's not so bad (some of the tickets aren't all that expensive), but others it's added travel and/or hotel. And that's just the money! Not talking about days off.
Oh, it will! I consider myself very lucky that this year I earn enough to make follies like this come true. It builds memories that last a lifetime. I will have to talk to my chef about one or two days off, yes.
A good friend works for bancruptcy chambers and when I told her about it and said: "I'm sure I can make it work somehow" she replied, in a very dry voice: "That's what my clients always say too."
