Spring Break

So I had a busy Spring Break but it was good. Here is a brief synopsis for anyone who is curious.

Friday: I went home and discovered that my brother and sister did not hit another growth spurt in two weeks, thank goodness...not that is not a good thing to grow but I would be scared if they had shot up in two weeks. I was scared enough when they shot up in a month!

Saturday: I got up really, really early to see my brother's basketball tournament at Croatan High School. The school is not too far from Morehead City. So even though it was cold it was beautiful outside because the back of the school parking lot faced the ocean, I wanna go back to the beach when it is actually warm now!My brother played hard which is what counts in any game and his team won the first game and lost the second game. Also, that night I went over with my Mom and sister to Lagrange to see my cousin Caleb...he is eight months old and a cutie pie, especially when he chases you when he is crawling!

Sunday: The day of rest...enough said

Monday: I finally started on my school work for Chapel Hill

Tuesday: I went to the big K-town (Kinston) for an interview with our former pastor of our church because he has a local television show now. That was interesting, I found out apparently I have a problem of looking at people when I talk to them, especially when I am nervous...haha oh well. After that I went to G-Vegas (Greenville) to see my friend Ali's apartment and to pick up some stuff from Victoria Secret.

Wednesday: I had to go to the dentist, I seriously hate going to the dentist worse than going to a doctor because I feel your mouth is on display the whole time while you are at the dentist office...it is a strange feeling. Anyway my wisdom teeth are growing in completely sideways towards my other teeth so I have to get them cut out this summer.

Thursday: This was the day to get loose ends tied up from 20 years past, it was a long day!

Friday-Sunday: I mostly stayed home and hung out with the family and I was able to get some sleep, which was very nice. On Saturday I went back to G-Vegas to see Ali and Jackie (it was so good seeing her!) I hadn not seen Jackie in a really long time so I enjoyed this visit alot and I was able to see her apt too. And I also got to meeet Ali's boyfriend, Michael, he seems nice as long as he treats my Alison right. Then early Sunday it was back to the Hill...now to get back to the daily grind of work.

In other news, today I ate at the new dining hall, it is SO NICE! It has a restaurant feel rather than a cafeteria feel because of the types of tables, chairs, and furniture used. In one part there is a Diner theme and the Ketchup and Mustard bottles have 50's Diner waitresses on them, there is a jukebox in the corner of the room and real booths for you to sit in! The Market downstairs is nice, but overpriced (what else do you expect from a school grocery store?). And the End Zone, also in this same complex is pretty cool. It has all of these games you would see in an archade room and has tvs all over the place for game days...should be interesting when the NCAA tourney starts back up! Well that is all for now.

For we walk by faith not by sight.

The above passage is just for a little reassurance to myself because I have a ton of work next week!
