Musings about all sorts of stuff

Instead of working on my paper I am of course doing something else unrelated. Hmm maybe I should remember

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

So I figured since I am killin' time (it is a Clint Black reference) that I should type up a live journal entry. Afterall, I have not been entertaining people lately with these entries ;). First of all, the weather has been so bizarre lately. It has gone from being 85 degrees outside to a cool 49 degrees today. Although I have to say that the 49 was a nice change of pace from it being hot everyday, I will have to deal with that enough this summer and I would like to have a spring and not just an extended summer.
School is going well for now, off of that list of things I have to do before finals I have finished all but a presentation (well the powerpoint for it is finished, I just have to present) and a paper. So that is a relief to say the least. I am so excited that in just two weeks I will be finished with Chemistry, I think that is my endzone mark right now, just to finish that class and put it behind me.
We had a sheparding meeting after Sunday School today at church and got to go over to a leader's house and have lunch. Well, they had kids so of course the first thing I gravitated to was the kids and family photos. I think family pictures are always a fun way to find out about people :). Anyway, so most of the time before the meal I was playing with the kids and getting the rooms showed to me, it was so much fun. Sometimes I think I am just a big kid at heart :). Speaking of kids, my brother is almost 5 feet now! He is only an inch away which I am sure is making my Mom nervous because she is only 5 feet. And apparently my sister is going through mood swings...my poor Dad and brother. Mostly I feel bad for my brother because I am sure most of the moods are going to be directed to him because they are so close in age.
Speaking of growing up, I am taking a big step in my growing process by leading a Bible Study next year and I am going to be a Junior. Would someone please tell me where the time has gone? Because sometimes I just want to catch it and keep it in a glass jar. I have to admit I am going to miss my roommate next year when she is not here anymore to be my reasonable funny half when I am stressing over schoolwork or just being a worry wart in general.
