The free pass is a lie... kinda
Well, yesterday we went to the Shedd aquarium using the free pass I borrowed from the library. After standing in line for about a half an hour (the line was huge... which surprisingly as we learned, was fairly typical for a weekend), we discovered that the pass was good only for general admission to the upper level and not for any of the "specialty ( Read more... ) -

Tomorrow Phyllis and I are off to the Shedd Aquarium thanks to the free family pass that I checked out from the Chicago public library!

An eventful couple of weeks
Last Thursday I worked all day and then immediately after work, I picked up Phyllis and we drove down to Navy Pier for the Paralegal Associations "Booze Cruise". Brief Post-move update
-My last week of working for Richard went surprisingly well. He wasn't happy and was pretty depressed about the situation, but at least he didn't get nasty like I was expecting him too. Got my final paycheck from Bergners, got a few odds and ends, packed the rest of my stuff up and headed up for my new home in Chicago ( Read more... ) -

Quick recap of the weekend/week
-Thursday: Worked both jobs, took off up to Chicago and had one of the easiest, most relaxed (and most expensive) trips up to her place on the tollways since I-80 is under construction.
