So yeah, desktop's gone through a self-lobotomy. I'm taking a risk and start fresh with a reformat, which I hopefully won't screw up too badly

Gotta say-- I don't regret owning my iMac (OMFG sexy display + colorssssadsflksjflskajfsla) + Macbook~ Honestly the only reason why I even use Windows for anything anymore is for Painter 6 (and the prospect of playing RO... uh, but that hasn't happened in a good 5 years...).

You have any recommendations on the iMac configuration? I've been tempted to drop some cash on the higher end but I'm not sure if it'll be worth it if I'm not going to be doing heavy duty stuff like video editing (though that would be fun) |º~ºµ

You know, I don't even use it for video editing a whole lot, but all I can really say is that I'm so pleased to own both, so pleased to use MacOS after years of wrestling with drivers and accessories you won't even believe. I want to get another one, FOR NO REASON.

More than that, even if you're not going to use it for heavy duty video editing, I'd like to think that you'd be just as (ridiculously, incredibly) spoiled on a big, beautiful 24-inch display as I am. I find excuses to go to my office to use my iMac..?
