First things first: surgery went well, absolutely no complications, and Dad's feelin'...well, not great, but not bad either. He'll be in the hospital for about another eight days though, the poor guy. He says thanks for everyone's well-wishes ( Read more... )

Seriously, though, the weather's been behaving oddly here too. Two days ago, I was longing for a pair of capris (aka your average woman's bell-bottoms), and tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 50s with rain. Guess Mother Nature's having mood swings. I sympathize.
