Happy Memorial Day

Jun 01, 2005 02:02

A little late, but I hope everyone had a good one, and remembers what it was for.

Busy couple of days for me. I was out of town all weekend - supposed to be on that fishing trip, but something came up, so Mr. St Louis crafted a promise outta me that I'll come down and have dinner. And I will, man, don't ever break promises, just don't know when. ( Read more... )

Was wondering when you'd get around to one of those long, rambling entries again. Not too early to talk about, I don't think, it's the offseason, when else, you know? Got lots of time to think about it when reality isn't making its own plans.

But it was such a good west coast game. We actually managed to win more than three in a row. Now. Go figure, huh?

In other news, I still can't shave, but I can...touch my left shoulder. Exciting. I'm hoping to be able to drive by the time we're back home.

I know, I've been bad at it. But. There are better things to do on a lazy summer afternoon, and quite frankly haven't had that much to update about. When season rolls around...

Yeah, it was a good west coast game, but they're done at like...1. Which means you're available later'n 1.

You got an automatic in the car collection? It'd prolly be easier.

Or not at all, as the case may be. Throws all the timing off, I get back at 1 or 2 and it's 4 or 5 out there, I ain't bothering you.

I might acquire one. I'll probably be able to handle the manual by tomorrow, but. Just for convenience.

Hey Ben. It's always nice to see your updates on my friends list. Any tips for the rookie?

Roethlisberger and Burress enjoyed a close relationship - too close if you ask the Steelers.
Ha, now I don't wanna know what most of you guys're thinkin', but nothin' like that.

Never crossed my mind. *G*

Couple, but really, it's different for everyone, the speed of the game. One thing I CAN tell you though: since you'll probably be benchin' it for at least one season, push yourself. Off the field, in the weight room. Cause going from the short college season to the pro season is exhausting, and you're still gonna be dead by the end of your first season on the field, but hopefully you can lessen the strain by really kickin' it up in the weight room.

Well good, cause, y'know, sick.

I totally can't see you doing yoga at all! I've tried it and I'm actually pretty good at it!!

I'm totally glad your dad's feeling better, but I'm still going to keep him in my prayers!

And tell your Carlee that THIS Carly got out of school on Friday!
