So I'm actually posting. Expect this to pick up, cause I can actually now get to computers, and I got stuff to talk about now! Training camp ain't so good for that type of stuff. See, you get an hour of free time (which is mostly used to play Madden) and plus, what's there to update about camp? "We had practice today. It was hot." S'pretty much what all my entries would look like.
And the weather HAS been brutal. Muggy, and hot...I can't wait til it starts gettin' cold. Which'll be soon, cause football season is finally here! First game of the year, Tennessee on Sunday. The press is already predicting our doom - first team offense ain't been so good in any of the preseason games, but I keep tellin' em it's no big deal and it ain't. No one's playing at full speed, none of the starters anyhow. Everyone just wants to cruise through pre-season without injury. And anyway, the offense hasn't called any of our playbook, so I've basically been working with half-baked formations and things we'll never run when it counts. AND I've always been a relatively slow starter (I gotta work on that) and I've played just about the equivalent of one game throughout the 4 preseason games. We'll be fine. Nothin' new anyhow, press was already predicting our doom last year too, so whatever.
College football startin', too! Miami lost pretty bad the other day to Ohio State, who I...don't much like. It was a great weekend anyhow. Weather was gorgeous, had a cookout today, good weekend for baseball and all, and football's startin' soon. Could it get any better?
Anyhow, I'll make this one short. You all better start contacting me to when you're gonna catch a game. We only got 16, remember, not 500 like you hockey or baseball boys. *grins*
