It's always hard, the first holiday without someone around.

I hope your USO trip goes well. That's gonna be quite an experience. I'd love to hear about it.

There was somebody around. An important somebody. It just wasn't my family, you know?

Yeah, man, definitely. 10 days in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan supporting the troops. I'll make sure to give full details. Least I could do, y'know?
