thanks for everyone who put me and christian up in melbourne. got to hang with dear old friends and meet heaps of great people, only wish i couldve spent more time there. all the bands were inspirational. didnt get any photos of off minor, due to memory constraints on the camera and the fact i couldnt squeeze into the venue to see them. but they sounded great.

grant the impeccable host

drove us all around Melbourne and is one of the greatest dudes ever. Endured our relentless desire to visit record shops and talk about Blue Murder. What an audacious bastard.

An amiable citizen on the werribee line. She made some bizarre comments about my Lãrm shirt and I asked her if i could take a photo of her.

the collapse at missing link. friday 16/7. only caught the last three songs....reminded me heaps of HHIG and Kylesa and they really captured the thick sound of the demo. thanks for the 7" and shirt!

the execution at the pink palace. friday night. angry as fuck, and you should all pick up their demo.

straightjacket at the pink palace. their demo rules and their personnel all rule. hard to believe this was their first show!

ABC Weapons at the Pink Palace. I couldnt wait to hear the 7", these guys are the best Australian exponents of Japcore i've heard. With all the flying mohawks, I felt like I was at a Kuro show or something. I hope the split LP with The Collapse happens....

The Collapse at the Pink Palace. Great again this night. I dig these guys a lot more than AIDS and Halo Of Knives (no slur on either band, who are both great in their own way) but the heaviness was pretty awesome. Great guys too

....with Dan Sard covering "Just To Get Away".
