Staten Island, N.Y. -- When Michael Jedrezyk and his family moved to their three-story condo at Elmwood Park in New Springville from Brooklyn nearly 15 years ago, they had hopes of escaping the crowded city and finally having a big backyard... Within the last two years, Jedrezyk says the deer have now taken over his yard and the wooded area behind his home, eating away at the bushes and plants he and his wife invested thousands of dollars in and leaving behind feces and a trail of urine after each visit.
