but dammit, I always hope to reconnect with folks over better circumstances. Yesterday the therian community lost one of our founding members. Which lead to a shit ton of old faces (myself included) appearing in the old irc channel to reconnect and do the whole show of support for Jakkal in the face of Bowtie's unexpected departure

I've totally lost touch with the therians out there, and you and a handful of others are my only remaining ties to it. I think Goldie closing her easyboard at the same time Werenet went poof was when I lost my anchors and I just sorta wandered away.

I was never on Werenet, but I was on Goldie's board and on Werenation. I've lost touch with so many as well. It was as if they all sort of folded around the same time. :(
