I have to admit I did enjoy it... maybe I shouldn't have admitted that.

The guy who wrote/acted in Shaun of the Dead also wrote/acted in this one, so I think it's okay to admitting to it.

When you going to come up for Minnesota? Miss you.

I know it is blasphemy to some but I only found Shaun of the Dead mildly amusing. I actually enjoyed Hot Fuzz much more.

I'll be honest... it does not look like Minnesota faire is in the cards this year. I wound up missing Bristol for a second season in a row, first time I've ever missed two consecutive years since I first started attending. With the cost of fuel what it is right now and us trying to save money, it looks like KCRF will be our only non-local faire of the season this year.

The things I liked about Shaun of the Dead are actually things I don't think I would have found amusing if I hadn't lived over there.

I totally understand about Minnesota. It's the only faire I've done this season which is really really weird. No Bristol. No St. Louis. No other random faire. But you do need to come out and visit at some point and I'm hoping to make it down next season to visit as well.

Tammy's with a musical group this year; I forget the name, but they're sort-of Middle Eastern themed, from the one time I saw them.

Me? I'm working St. Louis Pirate Fest. Because, y'know, I'm getting *paid*. Important to an unemployed guy. :)

Blast! I should have thought about the fact you'd be at Pirate Fest.

Why did I think she was working Mother Pockets??? So I *should* have been able to find her but didn't. Sadness.

Aaah, y'got one more weekend to find me a' Pirate Fest and two more to come see us at KCRF after that. [grin]

I'll be able to swing the visit to Pirate Fest, but alas the trip to KCRF last weekend will be my only one for the year.

we also watched Hot Fuzz recently. i too enjoyed it, except for the bloody parts where i looked away until it was over. but overall, i laughed my butt off!
