re: british and racism
um, yeah. oh fuck yeah. it doesn't help that india itself was ridiculously racist/discriminatory before the british even showed up. it could be argued that at least they're not as offensive about it as the japanese, but really, all that "superiority based on skin colour or ancestry" is pretty damn annoying.
