sometimes i wish i had gone into majoring in culinary arts insted of photography but my ultimate passion is to become a teacher and i know it will be way easier and more fruitful to become a photo teacher than a chefteacher.
fusion! why eat at just a sushi or thai restaurant, when you can eat at a sushi-thai restaurant? meaning, get your major in marketing, but maybe doublemajor in photography, or pick up a minor in photography. and then, potentially go to grad school for one of those, if you're really into it. and then, you get into the real world and do both. not separately, rather, work as the photography assistant at a magazine you like, or work with the people who make ads at, i don't know, h&m or something. sell your photography separately, maybe. try to get it into a gallery while still working a day job. don't feel as though you have to put all your effort into one area that you may not like very much (but pays really well), and then let your real loves fall by the wayside.
by the way, i do the same things with my clothes. or rather, i immediately try all the stuff on when i get home with other potential clothes combinations to see what'll look best. anyways, gotta run pooch
