Aw, I'm sorry. :( I have another friend who has a two- or three-year-old ball python (named Timber after his unfortunate habit of climbing the terrarium wall higher than he could support his vertical body and humorously doing his best Paul Bunyon-victim impression). Aside from having pooped on me once, I like the snake and we snake-sit for his owner over holidays. Despite my initial assumptions, I have seen how one can become attached to snakes as pets.

How old was he?
