Good plan. Just make sure not to do anything that would make it so you never needed to go back to hire the ninjas or you will have trapped yourself in a mobius strip-like quandary.

There are some many advantages to having a hammock bed.
1. Mad pirate points.
2. More space in your room
3. I'd imagine it's comfortable?
4. Mad pirate points.
5. An excellent conversation piece.
6. You won't have to worry about spiders/insect crawling up your bed and into your mouth and you eating them. If you didn't worry about that yet, well, maybe now you do.
7. Quick exit possibilities in case of zombie attack.
8. Your bed would be portable
9. Are hammocks sexy?
And I bet there are a zillion more.

no no no no no your back would never forgive you. but maybe put a mattress on the floor, and a hammock over it? if having an empty hammock hanging over you while you sleep wouldn't freak you out.
