Alright I am officially dperessed. I had to buy my first pair of maternity pants yesterday and it sucked. Oh and did I mention that the NEX only seems to think that large women get pregnant, yeah the smallest size that they had was XL. My pants are huge, tent like even. Yeah, they suck and I hate them ( Read more... )

Mum,
Fat pant's SUCK! I could have continued with my own pants but the only pair I have are capri's and it's to chilly to wear them during my walk to work in the AM. Oh and as for your preggie pic's, I'm sorry I could be nice but they are TERRIBLE. I mean, just for instance, I know it was the 80's but WHAT was with your hair? It should have had it's own zip. No joke. Oh and you've GOT to love the Brothers Auto Body sweats, and the leggings were HOT! ANYways...
Love,
Me!

Awe, your first pair of maternity pants! Look at it as a milestone in your pregnancy instead of "ugh, fat pants!"

I hope everything goes well with Tut.

Boo - You could always have to wear fat pants. This is a temporary situation and you should EMBRACE the polyester panel! Love it, honor it, wear it with pride. ALL HAIL POLYESTER. Love you. Miss you. You thought Tut was bad before, wait till he gets his Steve "The Bionic Man" Austin chip : ) Auntie.

Very true! rogue_pandora October 26 2005, 00:24:48 UTC
Polyester(shudders), BUT IT'S SO ITCHY! lol
You would be surprised, I tell people that I got him chipped and they look at me like I'm crazy. I think WAY to many people have that "It's just a cat" attitude. It's terrible. Japan has to have the worlds largest population of abandoned cats I have ever seen. Don't tell Nick, but I go to the park and feed them in the morning. It's sad really because they don't have any animal shelters or anything like that so they are just free to roam about. No one makes any attempt to have they fixed so the population is constantly increasing. *sigh* If it weren't for the fact that Thai is on the way I'd probably have them all at the house!

Oooooooh Poor Tut!!!!!! anonymous October 25 2005, 13:44:14 UTC
Hey Brat!!!! Poor Tut! Poor little bastrd won't know what to do. Both ends of his poor little anatomy will be hurting. He won't know which end is up. Be extra nice to him when he gets home. No kitty litter in the box until he is healed. And Make sure Tankie Ca-Ca doen't pick on him just to get even. So you had to buy some prego pants, huh? It is about time. Your 1st. pregnancy is just like mine. I didn't wear "fetal girth" clothes until the very end with Auntie Lynne Almost into my eight month. i was very active so I think that helped. I worked up to 8 months too. Now they work you until you pop. Doing good with the laps in the pool. Up to 30 believe it or not. that is the truth and it feels wonderful. Not bad for a 67yr old. Old in years, not in body or mind. Keep up the good work and let us know when the goodies arrive. Love you heaps and tons and Kiss Thai for us and remember to tell her Nanny J loves her to pieces and back. Nanna J

He's the brat rogue_pandora October 26 2005, 00:16:12 UTC
He'll be fine, I got a call yesterday afternoon from the Vet clinic and they said that 15 min after surgery he was already up and about and "wondering what they hell we did to him". I pick him up this afternoon and I already have a couple of peices of cocktail shrimp that I plan on shredding up and feeding to him so he'll get his little "reward" for having to endure a couple of days of pain. It's like giving a kid ice cream when they get their tonsils removed! In any case, I'm sure he'll be back to his old crazy ways in no time. The question remains though, how do I keep him out of the shower? lol.
As for my much disdained newly purchased maternity pants, I think I might actually have to have them taken in. They are HUGE! I have to pull them up every 2 seconds.
Congrats on the pool laps! You should try and get Bumpa to start doing them with you, it will help in his "quest" to lose weight. Tell him I love him and that I'm extremely proud of him for taking an initiative. I love you both!
