Sorry I've been gone for so long but I've been preoccupied with trying to fix the problem with my leave among many other things. Unfortunately I only have 10 days on the books as opposed to the 42 my LES says I have. I took the 10 days ( Read more... )

OK...so I was promised a pic of Smunchkie with her pigtails.....waiting! AND her new room. I miss my baby and need a fix. Talking to her the other day made my whole week. Thank god she looks like me! haha I like the new comments. Listen to Auntie, she truly beleives in the power of napping. It makes her a better person.

Hey Brat: I love, I love it, I love it!!!!!! She is Bumpa's great grand child for sure. He was giving you the Raspberry since the day you were born. So nice to talk with you the other day... You sure put some brightness in our day. Even if we don't like you one bit...( Hahahahahahahahah the raspberies.....) Just cut a head hole in a big trash bag, slip it over your clothes and you will be all set. This is such a normal stage this beautiful child is going through. And.... "Miss Mom," forget about the naps, you are done with those for the next 40 yrs or so, and then you will still lie awake at night and wonder if she is ok. Can't wait to hold her and bruise her from head to toe with kisses. Will send the package soon. Wait until you see the "Little Big Dog " dress, you will die. Sooooo cute. Love you much. I've run into this problem with my cousins. Wear a rain slicker and feed her from behind. It might even be a benifit to just put the high chair in the tub so you can hose her off after each feeding.

That's actually a really good idea! Lol, why didn't I think of that?! Though I have to admit she isn't bad enough to need the tub, at least not yet.
I saw your report on the Change of Command btw. It came out nice.

Meh, it was a two day cluster fuck that produced a half assed story. I hate doing shit like that.

If you want to see a real good one, check out the one I did for CTF-150 performs Maritime Security Operations in the Persian Gulf. My post on that in Livejournal says it all. That trip was awsome, and I'm probably going to do it again at the end of August. No Dutch though.

It's either that or a week in Iraq.

Ha! I find the blowing raspberries to be super cute, even though it's messy. I can just picture it. She's such an adorable child.

I'm loving the "Real Mom Confessions" idea. I can't wait to read more!
