Ah yes. Orlando Bloom, bound and soaking wet. Heh. I LOVED that whole scene, and the only thing that makes me sad is that Chow Yun Fat dies as soon as he does. Yum. The whole nearly three hours was yum.
Yes, bound to a yoke, in a hot tub. I'll take one of those for my birthday, Thanks. It needs to arrive with all the accessories included.
I would have loved to have seen more Chow Yun Fat, because I adore him. But if they had more of everything I wanted, they would have had to have a 5 hour movie.
I'd like to ask you something, so I can settle an arguement. Could you figure out from the film that Will's curse was lifted at the end? That is, the scene after the credits where he sails back to meet ELizabeth and his son after ten years, and the Green Flash appears, signaling that his soul has been released? I knew of this spoiler before the movie, and so I could follow, but it appears to have been too hard to get for most people. There was a scene cut from the movie at the last movie that would have made it much clearer, apparently.

What? WHAT?? I didn't see this, and nobody I'd read said anything about a bonus scene after the damned credits. I'd have LOVED to see this. I sure didn't get that from the rest of the film. I'd say that if I'd seen that scene, I too would have thought that the curse had been lifted, although isn't Will supposed to be DEAD if the curse is lifted? Someone has to kill his heart, at which point he's dead and released, right?
Dammit, I didn't know anything about this extra scene. Crappity.
Hon, above is a link to a post I hunted up that explains everything. This has been discussed all over, but this wonderful person pulled it all together splendidly. Pass it on!
At the end of the credits for the other two movies there have been fun little scenes regarding the monkey and the dog -- it's just bad luck that they but something so vital in at the end this time. After the end of the credits it felt like ten years had passed!
Anyway, you will have to see it sometime. It's lovely. *sniff* But that's what DVDs are for. I just saw the movie again today, and now it's off to try to get serious -- we sign away our lives to the house for good tomorrow! ((hugs))
