Fun in the sun...finally
Whoever said getting there was half the fun lied. We had breakfast at 8:30 in Hillsboro, and left for DFW. We got at the airport 2 hours early for our flight. We parked in long term parking and got a shuttle to the airport. Our driver was hysterical. He was Kenyan and said "Yee-haw" and "Let's rock and roll." about every 3 seconds. Now, seriously folks, i realize we are all dead tired and ready for school to be over. (note ALL) but we must plow through if we are ever to be sane again. it seems like things keep piling up, but eventually they will unpile again (either that or you will die and not have to worry about it anymore). the trick is getting through the hard times. My lovely, much healthier sister just got the lead in Wait Until Dark!!! I now must fly home the weekend of deadweek to see her. last weekend
fri. borgan, katie, adam, courtney, michelle, and i went roller-skating. it was a blast and it only cost $5. sat. i went with choir to memphis. we went down beale st. and ate at hard rock cafe. that evening we saw don giovanni. it mostly sucked, but three of the main characters were great and the opera itself is very fun. we had 2 concerts on sun.
