i finally worked on it. here's the semi-finished product, i still have critiques and comments to work on and then editing to do. Characters
Natalie: Young college student
Aidan: a 20 something rock band member
Tony: Aidan's band mate and best friend
Aidan sits in a coffee house waiting for his friend, Tony, to show up so that they can go over the lyrics to a new song. Natalie walks in the door.
Natalie: Aidan! I hope I'm not late; I had to take my cat to the vet. She just hates going so much I have to make her a tuna salad so she won't ignore me for a week and I had to run out and get eggs. Sorry! You haven't been waiting long though right?
Aidan: Umm...no. I've only been here for a couple minutes...uhh(tries to remember her name)...Natalie? I'm just waiting (Natalie interrupts)
Natalie: Waiting for a refill? Oh good! (calls to waitress) Waitress! Get me an orange mocha frappachino...please. (sits down)
Aidan: Umm...well could you move over? See, my friend Tony (Natalie interrupts again)
Natalie: Who's Toni? She sounds like a tramp.
Aidan: No, Tony is the bassist; we're working on a new song.
Natalie: Oh, Tony your bassist, well I guess that's ok then. Do you REALLY need to work on that song? I mean, we've seen so little of each other lately.
Aidan: Well
