Shifting homes
I have been thinking a lot lately about the limitations of Livejournal from a blogging standpoint. I live a web2.0, media rich life and I want my blog to reflect that. There are so many things that I can not do on LJ because of the scripting limitations. But I love the community here and I do not want to leave this family of readers and responders.
Here is what I have decided. I have set up a personal blog on blogspot. You can read me there if you like. I am also going to do a feed of that blog here to LJ.. and I will still be reading on LJ. The only new material I will post on LJ directly will be the locked down intimate friends only list stuff. I have not yet decided what to do with that sort of non-public posting.
I am trying not to abandon LJ completely, but I need to move into a venue where I have more flexibility, more control and more scripting power....
