• 23:19 thinking about bed. I know I should lay down and sleep, but the idea of sleep seems elusive. I have gotten spoiled having dave here so much. #

Oh gods. I HATE driving in the dark in the rain. I don't know if I have some kind of night blindness, or if it happens to everyone, but I have to focus SO hard and by the time I get home I sooooo need a drink!

glare.
it is a glare issue.
I know science, but I still would not believe it. Then I got prescription sunglasses that are polarized... and oh my god, it is liking looking at the world completely differently. I can not believe it. SO this time, I sucked it up and paid the extra for teflon coating that is supposed to be antiglare on regular glass.. i will let you know if it makes a difference.
beyond that, the glasses i am wearing around are a half prescription wrong, so shit in the wrong focal range is blurry to start with, much less at night in the dark.
best thing about being badly nearsighted? as you get older, your vision actually improves!!
