I didn't have a problem on my 21st-- mine didn't come till about a week or two after my birthday. Just keep your receipt for the new one with you. I think you should be fine though!

If you're at a restaraunt or something---it should be fine. But I'm not sure about just buying alcohol from stores, but they're obviously going to see that you JUST turned 21. Like, it's clear that your license hasn't been expired forever. I got mine on my birthday so I didn't have to worry about that.

Haha, maybe keep a copy of your birth certificate with you??? I know it sounds weird, but at least then you have two forms of ID that state your date of birth.

A couple places gave me problems because it was expired on my b-day (I don't think the new one came till a week later). Lucky for me, I had my un-expired motorcycle permit, so I didn't have to much trouble. You should be fine, though - bouncers don't give girls shit most of the time :-P
