In other news, the SDCC saw the first previews of the new Transformers animated show. Not keen at all on the Bruce Timm style design when I saw the first publicity shots, but in motion they look badass. Think it's going to be rather good, especially since they've gone on the record saying that they're wanting to focus on character development and ongoing plot. The show's obviously been made by a bunch of real G1 fanboys - all old school characters, the theme's virtually a reworking of the old G1 Season 1 theme, and as for Starscream... well, apparently someone figured out the secrets of the resurrection and the first person they brought back was Chris Latta.
