There is a small workaround.... create two access points with the same settings, connect to the airtel site wth one, don't disconnect, then connect to other sites from the other access point :) now you can surf for free :)

but For some reason I am unable to connect to the internet ... chatting with the airtel folks is kinda of no use. Sigh !

oh crap !
But I think I am messing up something with the settings on my Sony Eriscson W200i. Are there no online instructions for this thingie ?? * Sigh *

back to trying out various combinations to getting that damn phone to connect !!

hey airtel has different GPRS plans... Airtel Live, Airtel Online, etc. which one do you have ?

i got Airtel Online and it allows me to surf quite a few sites (i think all WAP enabled sites)

u need to SMS "AO ACTV" to 222 to activate Aiterl Online

Is Airtel Online a paid service ? If so how muhc ?
