Your story of finding the new easter egg ending is hilarious, because SO MANY PEOPLE found it exactly the same way. :)

I've done Destroy and Synthesis so far. Synthesis hit me right in the god damn feels, but I love the Destroy ending still best of all. Even if we didn't get the LI reunion that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THERE, it's much, much easier to headcanon it now. And the scene on the ground ordering the squad on the Normandy, although it feels a little clunky, is still emotionally satisfying, especially if it's ordering away an LI. And I've heard doing it to Garrus is REALLY awesome. So looking forward to that as Jenica, and even have new motivation to finish Kara (my headcanon Vegamancer) because of how James reacts if you send him away just as a platonic Shepard. Gaaaaaahhh.

tl;dr--agree with you 100%

I had Javik and James with me on the ground. (It didn't occur to me that there might be a moment with Kaidan, so I left him where he'd be safe. Mag *might* be a little overprotective ( ... )

*SNIRK*

I figured the squaddies not selected to go with Shepard are still in the thick of the fighting somewhere--no one's getting left out--so where they are really isn't any safer. For my Shepards, having the LI with them means they have more control over keeping them safe.

His reaching out and "Commander..."-ing me was, well, almost OOC

I had that same feeling with Vega and Christian. The kicked puppy dog look worked for Kaidan being forced to leave a Romanced FemShep, but for two rather testosterone-laden guys...? Then doing it again with EDI in that role, I think it's a "one size fits all animation". :P Except I don't think every character actually does fit that expression.

BeauPiep needs her moment with Kaidan before she gets all creepy omniscient and floods the extranet with *KAIDAN*KAIDAN*KAIDAN*KAIDAN* periodically because she can't figure out how to send him an email from her ( ... )

I am glad. That means I can buy ME3 with my first paycheck from my new job.

Thank you. I thought it was tough finding work in California. NW Pennsylvania sucks even harder.
