Johnnie Chapman. *grin* Orac says he was dedicated to an absurd scheme to walk across a continent, planting food-bearing foliage for the benefit of people who might come after him, and who would never thank him, much less pay him one thin credit. Apparently against all odds, he not only succeeded, but was remembered.
