So, first of all, let me say, that the gifts I received were wonderful.  My family was great.  My decorations were great.  And my mother in law? Let's say that she worries too much ( Read more... )

Dear, Johnny G.

So I showed up in Elysium at the prince's request to deal with a spook and I find that my ex girlfriend from about a century ago has been embraced by the Ventrue.

How should I deal with that? My first thought is to simply have her marginalized to be safe. Then again you know we parted on amicable terms so I dunno. Really weird thing I got going here any advice?

I got advice for you, Mr. Giovanni junior. run. Because we all know what happens to Giovanni who try and pick on said ventrue. Especially when said Ventrue happens to be the maker of some pretty kick-ass chess sets.

Dear "Uncle" Johnny Giovanni,
Is it true what Sabrina Pandora said?
When they say
"Diplomatic Emissary to the Camarilla",
do air quotes really appear above your head?"

Dear Jed:

Your effort would be far better suited in dealing with this in a rational manner. After all, he would be very easy for you to destroy. Petition the Prince for his death, if it's such a problem, or better yet, outlive him.

The biggest mistake I've made in the past few years has been to directly try to deal with nemeses. Outliving them was not as satisfying as I would like, but it always worked out.

Dear B:

Two simple pieces of advice:

1. Fickle Friendships aren't.
2. Crazy people should be avoided like the plague. You will find that the less time you spend with them, the more you realize you didn't need them in the first place.

Dear Johnny;

What advice do you have for hair care products? Somehow you are always clean and fresh-faced, and never a hair out of place.

Enviously,

Sabrina

Dear Sabrina:

I have a fresh haircut every day (I actually have long hair, who knew?), and my barber uses Garnier Fructis to sculpt and style my hair.

As for cleanliness (next to Godliness), I recommend a good body scrub, a wet shaving (done by feel, not by mirror), and above all, confidence.

Dear S:

I recommend that you find a patron. Find someone to take care of your needs.

And no, you shouldn't play with ghosts. Once that door is opened, they'll never leave you alone.
