OMG, this was a weird episode. If a normal ep is a sandwich with the case as the bread and the character development as the meat and cheese, this ep was a low-carb lettuce wrap made from an entire package of sliced turkey. Character development is ALL IT'S HERE FOR.
Has something like this ever been done on TV before? Serial novels? Comic books

I love the way you wrote out the interview-scene. I've almost forgotten how normal!Sam would react in such a situation. And forget the reptilian stare, the utter delight in which he looked at Dean after getting the truth was much more unsettling.
Paul snaps, strangles the man, and excavates his sublingual arteries with the drill, which has got to be the least efficient way to exsanguinate a guy ever devised onscreen
Yeah, Show doesn't know or care that I had a dentist appointment that evening, but damnAbout Bobby. I'm reminded of his tirade at Dean in the season 4 finale, how family is not meant to be easy to handle, and that Dean shouldn't be giving up on his brother. At least now Dean has a job - fix Sam, against Sam's will. It'll keep him busy.
