Aburame Shino (nofumigations): Despite the frustration of dealing with another dotting ninja, Naruto's really glad to see Shino in camp. Even if he is a weird bug guy, he's still a stable - for a nin - presence, which is something of a relief. Naruto's also really glad to have someone in camp he knows will watch over Hinata who has no conflicting interests, unlike Neji.
Akimichi Chouji (meat_tanker): He's a Leaf nin, and someone who nearly died to retrieve Sasuke, and as such, a friend. Naruto's had very little contact with Chouji at camp.
Haruno Sakura (wayhotkunoichi): Sakura-chan is Naruto's first love, and that's never going to change. What he does with that love, though, has. He can see the possibilities in the relationships she's building with Yuusuke and Lee, and he wishes her happiness with all his heart. This won't stop him from flirting with her, however. Will that flirting ever go anywhere? I won't say no, simply because this is camp, but as it stands right now he has no intentions of trying to start a relationship with her that goes beyond that of a dear, dear friend. He's proud of her strength and he'd give his life for her without a moment's thought.
Hyuuga Hinata (twice_tothesun): Naruto hasn't spent much time with Hinata, but as with everyone else from Leaf, she's a fellow nin. He'd do anything for her, and in addition to finding her sweet, if a little odd at times, she caught the aging virus at the same time as Naruto, and that was an eye opener. Cute Hinata grows up to be a lovely woman, and Naruto hasn't forgotten that. If he were more focused on that sort of thing, it's entirely possible he'd pursue that. But he's Naruto, so it hasn't happened. Yet. [ETA 16 Oct 05] The clue-by-four of flowers from Hinata for his birthday, as well as her reaction to some of the things he said afterward have finally knocked it into his head that she's interested in him. He's..amazed, and confused and honored and really doesn't have any idea what to do with her at this point.
Hyuuga Neji (screwfate): Naruto considers Neji a very close friend. He's spent the majority of his time at camp with Neji (and Itachi), and he's watched Neji struggle with a variety of things - gender swaps, regression, his relationship with Itachi. It pains Naruto to see him going through all of this, and it really pains him to think about what will happen to his friend when they get out of camp and Neji and Itachi have to part. While there are days Naruto wants to smack Neji upside the head for one reason or another, he wouldn't hesitate to help him should the need arise, and if anyone fucks with Neji, they will get burning Kyuubi justice up the ass in return.
Kaguya Kimimaro (boner_for_oro): Kimimaro couldn't have arrived at camp at a worse time. Just when Naruto's letting himself hope he's finally getting through to Sasuke, another of Orochimaru's underlings shows up, and one that's quite powerful at that. Dislike isn't a strong enough word to use for Kimimaro, but he and Naruto haven't interacted all that much yet.
Nara Shikamaru (iamalazybastard): Same deal as the others regarding friendship - he tried to find Sasuke, he's a Leaf nin, he's a friend. Naruto's had next to no contact with him at camp.
Rock Lee (greenbeast__rar): Naruto has spent very little time with Lee since arriving, but it was long enough for Lee to say something to him that's had a pretty profound effect on Naruto's thoughts regarding Itachi - that is, that people can redeem themselves. Naruto has depthless amounts of respect for Lee and his strength and ability to forgive and would spend more time with him if it could be arranged.
Tsunade (stacked_deck): Naruto has mixed feelings on having Tsunade in camp, On the one hand, he dislikes that a person that has authority over him is around, but on the other.. it's Tsunade. She may a be drunken gambling addict, but she's strong, and as much as Naruto hates to admit it, has the best interests of the Konoha nin in mind. He doesn't agree with everything she does, and that's caused quite a bit of conflict and miscommunication between them, particularly when it comes to Itachi, but deep down, he sees her as a mother figure and loves her as such.
Uchiha Itachi (strongeruchiha): Naruto's thoughts on - and relationship with - Itachi have evolved quite a bit over the three months he's been at camp so far. Initially someone Naruto hated to the depths of his soul and feared more than a little, after so much time spent in Itachi's company, Naruto's been forced to reevaluate his opinions on the nin. He will never, ever forgive Itachi for what he did to Sasuke, EVER, but he's having a damned hard time seeing the man as the evil incarnate he once thought of him as. Itachi's been very well behaved while at camp, and even downright helpful at times, including stopping Sasuke from doing some foolish things when he had no real reason to step in. After struggling with the idea for some time, Naruto has outright admitted to Itachi that he likes him, and Itachi, shortly thereafter, went as far as to say Naruto was tolerable company and that his determination was admirable, which is really something in Naruto's mind. To Naruto, the relationship is odd in the extreme and not something he's very happy with; he sees it as the ultimate betrayal to Sasuke, but he also can't fight his feelings, and dammit, he likes the guy.
Uchiha Sasuke (morespecial): Never in Naruto's wildest dreams did he think he'd ever have the opportunity to be trapped in a relatively small living area with Sasuke once the other boy defected from Konoha. He's taken every opportunity presented to be around Sasuke, needling him, encouraging him, talking him down, trying to be the good friend/rival he thinks Sasuke needs and deserves, trying to convince him through friendship that Konoha is where Sasuke needs to be. He did not plan on developing feelings for Sasuke that went beyond friendship in the process, though, and had no idea what the hell to do with that little development. A day spent drinking with Sasuke took care of that, though, and now that Naruto knows for certain that Sasuke has at least some affection for him, he is NEVER going to let Sasuke go back to Orochimaru.. something both boys know, and will probably never discuss until the time comes that they are free of camp. Does Naruto love Sasuke? As a friend, yes. As something more than that? He's not sure, having absolutely nothing to compare it to. If anyone in camp were to ever harm - or heaven forbid, kill - Sasuke.. blood would likely rain from the sky.
Yakushi Kabuto (knowing_smile): Kabuto drives Naruto up the fucking wall. Much like Itachi, the man has done nothing overt in camp to cause Naruto to dislike him so much, but unlike with Itachi, Naruto was part of a group that Kabuto betrayed once, and he's never going to forgive that and the subsequent bloody battles. The man is slippery as an eel and consistently points out Naruto's failings to him, which grates on Naruto's nerves to no end. He's stopped trying to convince everyone in camp that Kabuto's no good, since it was getting him nowhere, but he's not letting his guard down around the Sound nin.
Yamanaka Ino (inyohead): Hasn't had much contact with her. Carries the same "is of Leaf, thus friend" status as the others. Naruto finds her kind of scary when she gets pissed.

Ishida Uryuu (ishidork): Ishida seems like a nice guy; he's made clothing for people, including Naruto, but Naruto's not very happy with his habit of attacking without thought any of the camp demons. He doesn't want to ever harm Ishida, but after Ishida shot Yuusuke, Naruto wouldn't hesitate to attempt a smackdown if it stops the Quincy from harming someone else.
Yamada Hanatarou (dontkickmeplz): Naruto likes Hanatarou, and sees him as someone he could possibly take under his wing. The kid has self-esteem issues that make Naruto nuts, and no idea who to stay away from - asking Sasuke why he masturbates in a picture is a surefire way of inviting death upon oneself, and Naruto doesn't like that! But he's kind, and helpful and Naruto appreciates those traits.

Kurama (honor_amongst): Naruto's first two meetings with Kurama were less than stellar; the first was when Kurama's kitsune form set off Kyuubi and pushed Naruto to Level 2 against his will, and the battle to restrain Kyuubi left him fairly exhausted and not in the most impressive of forms. The second time was when Goku staked Naruto to the ground; Kurama helped Itachi remove the branch and take him to Tsunade - again, not the most impressive way to leave an impression! They've talked a little here and there since, and Kurama seems open enough about his life, and willing to look past the fact that Naruto has one of his kind imprisoned inside him. Naruto has about a thousand and one questions for him, but isn't quite comfortable enough around Kurama to ask them yet. That could change if Yuusuke were with him during the questioning, though.

He's never seen Yuusuke at full power, but he's heard about it, and of the people in camp Naruto thinks he can fight with without having to worry about accidentally killing, Yuusuke's one (with Goku being the other. He won't add Sasuke to that list as, after 3 years, he has no idea what Sasuke's capable of any longer and the bastard won't show him.) Naruto's asked Yuusuke for help with Kyuubi's powers, as he's gotten no real training in how to use them, and who better to ask about youkai things than a youkai?
If the campers were ever given the choice of where to go when camp finally ends, Naruto would drag Sakura and Sasuke to Yuusuke's world in an instant if it weren't for their obligations back home.

Aburame Shino (nofumigations): Despite the frustration of dealing with another dotting ninja, Naruto's really glad to see Shino in camp. Even if he is a weird bug guy, he's still a stable - for a nin - presence, which is something of a relief. Naruto's also really glad to have someone in camp he knows will watch over Hinata who has no conflicting interests, unlike Neji.
Akimichi Chouji (meat_tanker): He's a Leaf nin, and someone who nearly died to retrieve Sasuke, and as such, a friend. Naruto's had very little contact with Chouji at camp.
Haruno Sakura (wayhotkunoichi): Sakura-chan is Naruto's first love, and that's never going to change. What he does with that love, though, has. He can see the possibilities in the relationships she's building with Yuusuke and Lee, and he wishes her happiness with all his heart. This won't stop him from flirting with her, however. Will that flirting ever go anywhere? I won't say no, simply because this is camp, but as it stands right now he has no intentions of trying to start a relationship with her that goes beyond that of a dear, dear friend. He's proud of her strength and he'd give his life for her without a moment's thought.
Hyuuga Hinata (twice_tothesun): Naruto hasn't spent much time with Hinata, but as with everyone else from Leaf, she's a fellow nin. He'd do anything for her, and in addition to finding her sweet, if a little odd at times, she caught the aging virus at the same time as Naruto, and that was an eye opener. Cute Hinata grows up to be a lovely woman, and Naruto hasn't forgotten that. If he were more focused on that sort of thing, it's entirely possible he'd pursue that. But he's Naruto, so it hasn't happened. Yet. [ETA 16 Oct 05] The clue-by-four of flowers from Hinata for his birthday, as well as her reaction to some of the things he said afterward have finally knocked it into his head that she's interested in him. He's..amazed, and confused and honored and really doesn't have any idea what to do with her at this point.
Hyuuga Neji (screwfate): Naruto considers Neji a very close friend. He's spent the majority of his time at camp with Neji (and Itachi), and he's watched Neji struggle with a variety of things - gender swaps, regression, his relationship with Itachi. It pains Naruto to see him going through all of this, and it really pains him to think about what will happen to his friend when they get out of camp and Neji and Itachi have to part. While there are days Naruto wants to smack Neji upside the head for one reason or another, he wouldn't hesitate to help him should the need arise, and if anyone fucks with Neji, they will get burning Kyuubi justice up the ass in return.
Kaguya Kimimaro (boner_for_oro): Kimimaro couldn't have arrived at camp at a worse time. Just when Naruto's letting himself hope he's finally getting through to Sasuke, another of Orochimaru's underlings shows up, and one that's quite powerful at that. Dislike isn't a strong enough word to use for Kimimaro, but he and Naruto haven't interacted all that much yet.
Nara Shikamaru (iamalazybastard): Same deal as the others regarding friendship - he tried to find Sasuke, he's a Leaf nin, he's a friend. Naruto's had next to no contact with him at camp.
Rock Lee (greenbeast__rar): Naruto has spent very little time with Lee since arriving, but it was long enough for Lee to say something to him that's had a pretty profound effect on Naruto's thoughts regarding Itachi - that is, that people can redeem themselves. Naruto has depthless amounts of respect for Lee and his strength and ability to forgive and would spend more time with him if it could be arranged.
Tsunade (stacked_deck): Naruto has mixed feelings on having Tsunade in camp, On the one hand, he dislikes that a person that has authority over him is around, but on the other.. it's Tsunade. She may a be drunken gambling addict, but she's strong, and as much as Naruto hates to admit it, has the best interests of the Konoha nin in mind. He doesn't agree with everything she does, and that's caused quite a bit of conflict and miscommunication between them, particularly when it comes to Itachi, but deep down, he sees her as a mother figure and loves her as such.
Uchiha Itachi (strongeruchiha): Naruto's thoughts on - and relationship with - Itachi have evolved quite a bit over the three months he's been at camp so far. Initially someone Naruto hated to the depths of his soul and feared more than a little, after so much time spent in Itachi's company, Naruto's been forced to reevaluate his opinions on the nin. He will never, ever forgive Itachi for what he did to Sasuke, EVER, but he's having a damned hard time seeing the man as the evil incarnate he once thought of him as. Itachi's been very well behaved while at camp, and even downright helpful at times, including stopping Sasuke from doing some foolish things when he had no real reason to step in. After struggling with the idea for some time, Naruto has outright admitted to Itachi that he likes him, and Itachi, shortly thereafter, went as far as to say Naruto was tolerable company and that his determination was admirable, which is really something in Naruto's mind. To Naruto, the relationship is odd in the extreme and not something he's very happy with; he sees it as the ultimate betrayal to Sasuke, but he also can't fight his feelings, and dammit, he likes the guy.
Uchiha Sasuke (morespecial): Never in Naruto's wildest dreams did he think he'd ever have the opportunity to be trapped in a relatively small living area with Sasuke once the other boy defected from Konoha. He's taken every opportunity presented to be around Sasuke, needling him, encouraging him, talking him down, trying to be the good friend/rival he thinks Sasuke needs and deserves, trying to convince him through friendship that Konoha is where Sasuke needs to be. He did not plan on developing feelings for Sasuke that went beyond friendship in the process, though, and had no idea what the hell to do with that little development. A day spent drinking with Sasuke took care of that, though, and now that Naruto knows for certain that Sasuke has at least some affection for him, he is NEVER going to let Sasuke go back to Orochimaru.. something both boys know, and will probably never discuss until the time comes that they are free of camp. Does Naruto love Sasuke? As a friend, yes. As something more than that? He's not sure, having absolutely nothing to compare it to. If anyone in camp were to ever harm - or heaven forbid, kill - Sasuke.. blood would likely rain from the sky.
Yakushi Kabuto (knowing_smile): Kabuto drives Naruto up the fucking wall. Much like Itachi, the man has done nothing overt in camp to cause Naruto to dislike him so much, but unlike with Itachi, Naruto was part of a group that Kabuto betrayed once, and he's never going to forgive that and the subsequent bloody battles. The man is slippery as an eel and consistently points out Naruto's failings to him, which grates on Naruto's nerves to no end. He's stopped trying to convince everyone in camp that Kabuto's no good, since it was getting him nowhere, but he's not letting his guard down around the Sound nin.
Yamanaka Ino (inyohead): Hasn't had much contact with her. Carries the same "is of Leaf, thus friend" status as the others. Naruto finds her kind of scary when she gets pissed.

Kurama (honor_amongst): Naruto's first two meetings with Kurama were less than stellar; the first was when Kurama's kitsune form set off Kyuubi and pushed Naruto to Level 2 against his will, and the battle to restrain Kyuubi left him fairly exhausted and not in the most impressive of forms. The second time was when Goku staked Naruto to the ground; Kurama helped Itachi remove the branch and take him to Tsunade - again, not the most impressive way to leave an impression! They've talked a little here and there since, and Kurama seems open enough about his life, and willing to look past the fact that Naruto has one of his kind imprisoned inside him. Naruto has about a thousand and one questions for him, but isn't quite comfortable enough around Kurama to ask them yet. That could change if Yuusuke were with him during the questioning, though.

Urameshi Yuusuke (_icallshotgun_): Yuusuke is the friend Naruto always wanted growing up; strong, funny as hell, FUN as hell and so willing to cause trouble and live for the moment. Naruto loves him to death, and outside of a few fellow nin, Yuusuke's the one he trusts most in camp - trusts him to help him out, talk things out, or club him in the head if he needs it. He still feels guilty for what happened to Yuusuke when the other walked in on Kyuubi being resealed, and he's eager for another spar, as their first fight seriously tanked because Naruto was having issues with his seal - something Naruto's really fucking embarrassed about. He's never seen Yuusuke at full power, but he's heard about it, and of the people in camp Naruto thinks he can fight with without having to worry about accidentally killing, Yuusuke's one (with Goku being the other. He won't add Sasuke to that list as, after 3 years, he has no idea what Sasuke's capable of any longer and the bastard won't show him.) Naruto's asked Yuusuke for help with Kyuubi's powers, as he's gotten no real training in how to use them, and who better to ask about youkai things than a youkai?
If the campers were ever given the choice of where to go when camp finally ends, Naruto would drag Sakura and Sasuke to Yuusuke's world in an instant if it weren't for their obligations back home.
