You make it hard for the limited amount of us Moderate Republicans to remain Moderate Republicans, instead of becoming Moderate Democrats.

My personal view is that I don't care if your gay or not. Te Government should have zero interest in marriage, and there should be no governmental (ie tax breaks) for anyone who is married. So I oppose the concept in general.

Marriage is a contract between to folks. the State should have nothing to do with it, in any fashion.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Equal Treatment under the law. There's a big difference between having a Choice and not having One. If you don't Beleive in Marriage, fine. Don't have one. Some of us do but don't have that nice Choice. Both me and my Husband(and since we Married in my religion, I consider us so under the God/desses, even if ol YHVH doesn' Approve...)are not young and we go through HELL every time the other gets ill....and the BS about legal papers only means after the fact you can get an "apology" from the facility, it doesn't mean squat at the desk...

Why do you think I'm Democrat, even though I'm pretty COnservative? I'm not dishonest with myself enough to BE a Republican AND be Heathen AND Gay. The reason I'm not Libertarian is that I've Lived in Conservative areas most of my Life and I Know without the "gummit" the fukheads with money and power ALWAYS win`....

To clarify though, I'm in no way against homosexuality, bi-sexuality, or even polygamy among consenting adults.

The comment was geared towards people who were in Office having sex with people of the same gender, while advocating how atrocious homosexuality was.

I got it, then again, I Know you;>. To me it's like folks who have certain Rights and Choose because of Idiology not to involve themselves telling those of us without those Choices to "get over it gurlfren", that it gets annoying....
