Kaori glared after Lucas as he began to lug the equipment. "Don't get over confident Lucas," he said following after him. "You're the one that chocked last time. Your scales turned redder than my old car, remember?" He smirked at the memory.

"Yeah, unfortunatly i do remember." Lucas sighed. It happened on his first gig. During his drum solo, he was playing so fast and getting so overconfidant that his let go of his sticks and hit him in the eye. that incident caused his eye to swell for days.

"we should get ready to go on." The dragon had finished setting up the equipment and briefed the stage manager on the placement of said equipment.

Kaori set up with his mic and guitar at the head of the stage with Lucas to his right behind him and Ryu to his left behind him. He tapped his mic. "Sound check. How's this Burt

Lucas always felt the best while drumming on stage. There was something...magical, that he could never explain. didn't matter. his troubles always melt away for the duration of the show and not reappear until the next day. sometimes never.

though something seemed to bug hima little. Koari seemed to be just a tad distracted by something. every other verse or chourus. he would take a glance on the side stage. Lucas shrugged it off and decided that he was just joking with someone on the side stage.
