I may eventually try 5E, but right now we have 2 simultaneous 4e games going, with plans for 3 more 4e games in the future when there's more time, so it's gonna be quite a while, if we do shift. Like, we may be up to 6E by then. :)

I'm still running my 3.x game, but I'm using the adventures HotDQ as source material for the world.

I've played Lost Mines of Phandelver in 5e, but I have SOOO MANY 3.x books and things, I don't see the need to convert.

I might steal some concepts and buy the books. Advantage/Disadvantage sound easy enough to port over.

I've played a little 5th edition.

It's fun! I've played some of the Hoard of the Dragon Queen, and read the rest of it - it's a nifty little campaign. It's got different bits - starts with combat and a town under seige, follows up with an infiltration, then has a series of different types of adventure. So far, I'm pretty happy with 5th.

I want to try it but my groups are both in the middle of other campaigns.

I've been playing pathfinder for quite a while. I eschewed 4th edition, but decided to give 5th a try. Here are my thoughts after building a couple of characters and a good day of playing ( ... )
