He's going to be the ethicist for one of the Catholic hospital systems up there (I didn't know hospitals even had ethicists!). Part of his job will be helping to establish procedures for patient treatment and care and ways to carry out mission identity and stuff, and then also counseling families and patients. It sounds like a pretty daunting job to me, but he's excited about it. Of course, he's also really sad to leave CJ.
So, the one good part about Pat moving to S Carolina is that we'll have a bona fide guest room-slash-sewing room, and you can stay here whenever you want!

I talked to my mom and she said that they might actually consider keeping their house in St. Louis, too. I think they're a little nervous that they might hate Kansas and then have nowhere to go back to. So they might be in the market for a caretaker. I'd bet they'd even let you sleep in the camper.
