ooh yesterday was so AMAZING!
The Terminal City Rollergirls were all out skating at the Commercial Drive Festival, we were down in front of Zesty's (who was so amazing for letting us use their power and bathrooms and stuff)
We were originally going to be in front of Stella's (who was our sponsor for the day) but were moved down the street.

'Toe-Protec' from Mad Dogs Source for Sports is great for covering up skate 'boo-boos'. It stinks like shyt though, so if you use it, make sure you're not skating for at least the afternoon. I feel for you only having half a tongue left on your skate - I tried one and two knee slides at the tennis courts (helps me not be scared of falling), and my toe covers are looking shot! I'm going to have to budget getting a few spares some time soon . . .*laugh*
