entry prompted by a near death experience

We set a car on fire tonight. We being the motorsports guys, the car being the blue Legends racer. We were so close to getting it running too...really frustrating. To make a very long story short, the fuel line from the pump to the back firewall made contact with the live starter solenoid, burned through the metal braids, and caught the fuel
