i decided some of my drawings were decent enough and contacted a gallery. wish me luck!. i'm nervous.

there's a gallery in memphis that i think might be interested in your work called l. ross gallery. it's worth a shot.

send a cd of images and a short bio and resume to her via snail mail. check out the website first. write a short cover letter to tell her if you'd be interested in a solo show or that you would like to be considered for part of a group exhibition. she probably won't spend much time looking at the resume/bio but make sure you only send your best images. you can send a cd and some printouts or just a cd ( ... )

also, i was going to get some dickblick black gallery frames cause they're fairly cheap. do you think they would be ok to use?

yeah!! good luck :))

we went to a local gallery walk the other night and I was surprised...well, not really.. with a lot of bad art $ high prices. then, some works that were really good had lower prices... you are much better than a lot of the works I saw.

One of the galleries is a distributer of Thomas Kincaid. I don't like his subject matter really but he is good at what he does and it was amazing how many paintings of his were there - he is prolific! I want to be :( whah...
