You can pick up the pieces and fight back when you are ready.
It doesn't sound cruel, its a knee jerk natural reaction. Don't give yourself a hard time.
You can be fixed if you choose/want to be, when you are ready, and one never knows when that will be. Take as long as you need.
don't ever apologise for being over-dramatic. If people can't deal with that - its their problem not yours.

It's an interesting problem, mostly because I do plays all the time, and have a really good understanding of what's real and what isn't, but this time...it was a bit different. And I don't think I should think that because, like every other theatrical thing in the world, it wasn't real. I can't even begin to understand the real thing, probably, and I most certainly can't claim I know how it feels.
