Dr. Who is being revived as a full series on BBC Two! The whole show is to replace their current showing of Star Trek re-runs at 6:45 GMT. Currently in the filming right now in an undisclosed location, no one at the BBC offices are talking when asked who the new Doctor is. BTW: I wasn't joking when I mentioned in an earlier thread that the actor who is currently playing Giles in Buffy was rumored to be cast into the role of the Doctor...

And for those of us in the U.S., is there someone who we can convince to tape the new episodes? I'd be more than happy to share them with others (IE: The Boston Doctor Who Viewing Society), so more than just 1 person would be seeing these episodes...

(And if the actor is someone other than Giles, does this mean we'll have two Nines running around? *Grins*)

BTW: Do we have a cite on this one? I just did a quick search on the BBC website and came up blank...
