This is gorgeous. I love how you get inside Matt's head and the comparison to Landry. Matt can be so quiet, words don't come easy to him, but you can tell he thinks about things a lot. You really brought that to life here.

Also - great portrayal of his grandma.

FNL is one of those shows where I don't want or need fic, because the show does it all.

So, I read this anyway (yay procrastinaion) and it rings so true. Thank you. It did add something. I love that an older person with dementia is treated with respect, both on the show and in fandom. Thank you for exploring that a bit.
