Raye yawned against her hand. She'd stayed out too late, running errands on a school night, and she was more than ready to go home and take a hot bath before crashing into bed. "Don't you have anything better to do at this time of night?" Raye said waspishly. There was no mistaking what they were doing, loitering around the temple and eyeing her with those stupid smiles, and she wasn't going to give them the benefit of the doubt anyway. As they grappled for her arms, she retaliated with her feet, stamping her heel down on the first sneaker-clad toe she could find, before lashing out with a fierce kick from her other leg. They were not going to get away with this!

She knew she needed to follow him. Even if walking and reading wasn't too suspicious, maybe she could find out where he lived, and pick up a few more clues. It would be nice to know if the Sailor Scouts had a new enemy or ally at hand.
Silently she watched until he'd gained a reasonable distance, and then she began to sneak after him, scuttling from wall to bush to wall to hedge.
~Now I'll see what you're really up to,~ she thought, frowning.

Fine. They wanted to follow? He had nothing to hide.
He resumed walking, looking back down at his book but not reading the words on the page. Instead, he paid close attention to his Soul Perception.
