It was natural with her.
She had struck a chord at their Sorting. They were friends, yet not too close: She had her followers, and he had his minions.
Pansy was always loyal and compassionate, helping him through his emotional -- and physical -- growing pains. He had relied on her insightful counsel and tender kisses.
Gradually realising how superbly she complemented him, Draco had claimed her for his lover and partner, his pure-blood wife.
Now he gazed appreciatively down the long table and over the Flaming Christmas Pudding, which held the attention of three happy children.
Her blissful smile came easily.
