“They’re all asleep, finally.” Ginny Potter stood at the door to their living room, still ballerina graceful after bearing three children.
“Good,” said Harry as he slid a silver disc into James’ Christmas present.
“Weren’t you supposed to clean up here while I put the kids to bed?” Ginny asked mildly, clearing the tangle of ribbon and tears of bright Christmas paper with a wand-sweep.
Harry grunted noncommittally, focussed intently on the television screen.
Ginny sat behind him, fingertips caressing soft hair at the nape of his neck as she watched. “You keep on dying. You need an Invisibility Cloak.”
