Memory guides my hand as charcoal scrapes against parchment, the drawing an attempt to bring her back.
She'd lain beside me on the snowy lawn, our arms and legs stretched wide, forming angelic impressions.
Charcoal Ginny moves too, the wind blowing her fiery hair, reddening her cheeks, making her warm eyes shimmer.
Charcoal Dean rolls towards her, marring her delicate snow angel, but she isn't displeased. She reaches for him instead, laughing, crushing her lips to his.
Her smile warms me as I huddle against the bitter cold on Christmas Day, surrounded by goblins, fearing I'll never see her again.
