It begins in a simple manner with a girl’s laugh, a sparkle in the eyes or in a flirty remark. It is a Horcrux no dark arts master ever imagined. Completely and abruptly, you have lost yourself to a woman’s love.
Like a Horcrux, Narcissa held part of me in her. Even during the most miserable times, all I could see in her eyes was what was good and noble in me.
And for me, I held her in my heart. A heart never too full to allow more of her love in, never empty with her in my life.
