It's Tuesday after the first Monday in November, or close enough to it, anyway.  You know what that means, folks!  That's right, today is Election Day!

NY local elections

NY local elections are a disaster. Especially the judges. They aren't allowed to campaign, so basically the local political party ends up appointing whoever they want, since everyone votes by party since there's no way of knowing anything about the candidates, so judicial objectivity doesn't have a fighting chance.
