New York Times Magazine has an article on abortion in El Salvador. The country bans abortion under all circumstances and apparently is aggressive in prosecution. I haven't read all of it; it's nine pages online. It should be give a lot of insight into what illegal abortion is like. This is relevant in the U.S. now as South Dakota has banned

Ugh. I can't imagine hospitalizing women with ectopic pregnancies and not treating them until their tubes rupture. And then the doctors getting creative to get around the law.... It just sounds like a sad situation overall.

Wow, I just finished it. It really did give me a lot of insight. I've always been on the fence about abortion because I always think "whoa, human life." I'm still thinking "whoa, human life," but in a slightly different way

After reading this article, I think my stance on abortion is something like this:
I really hate everything surrounding abortions, especially anyone who is against them.
