A Year to the Day: March 19, 2004
Exactly one year after my brother went to Iraq/Kuwait, he came back to U.S. soil for good. He's not home yet, but he's in the states. I thank my God that he is, and his unit, is back and safe. I have (finally) commented on the comments people left on my February 20th entry.I am still tormented by the whole issue, but I do not like the pace at which events are unfolding. My Valentine's Day
Yesterday I picked up a gift for my mom, which my dad, youngest brother, and I presented to her this morning. She loves it. The summer after my freshman year, I worked full time and took a class. I was very diligent in doing my work, unlike during regular term-time. This bothered me somewhat, because I was putting in about fifty or so hours of work between work and school (plus transportation time) with absolutely no motivational problems, but had to beat myself ( Read more... ) -
Resurrection
My last substantial post was on the first of the month. I have been much hosed by taking two classes during the Winter session, working fifteen to twenty hours a week. Half of the weekends were absolutely full. It has been enjoyable, but I am glad for the advent of the Spring semester ( Read more... )
